Low Cost Water Monitoring Solutions

WaterWatch is a flexible, low-cost wireless platform that supports a family of water-quality monitoring sensors and provides unmatched versatility flexibility for short-term (portable) monitoring solutions as well as fixed long-term fixed monitoring requirements.

WaterWatch is built around open, ‘standards-based’ wireless communications solutions to ‘future proofs’ your investment and supports ‘plug & play’ deployment of smart sensor solutions.

WaterWatch breaks the mould of present day ‘Data Logger’ solutions and takes advantage of new technologies and standards that aggregates and delivers critical information in an understandable format to the decision makers on water quality monitoring standards and river basin management. WaterWatch facilitates critical decision making processes in water quality management including:

  • - Pollution Monitoring Alert
  • - Water Level Alert
  • - River Basin Management
  • - European Water Framework Directive Standard
  • - Environmental Data Exchange

Overview of WaterWatch deployment

Solution Options

WaterWatch Direct

Each sensor node supports up to 4 sensors and communicates directly with the WaterWatch Applications Server for sensor monitoring, data storage, reporting, alarm alerts and plug & play sensor setup.

WaterWatch Alarm

Each sensor node supports up to 4 sensors and is setup to monitor locally and communicate any alarm conditions directly to a number of pre-selected mobile phone numbers. Alarm level data can be communicated to the phone of extracted via PDA/Laptop if required.

WaterWatch Network

A network of remote wireless sensors communicate using the Zigbee wireless standard to a single wide-area gateway that connects the network to the WaterWatch Application Manager for sensor monitoring, data storage, reporting, alarm alerts and plug & play sensor setup

WaterWatch Local

A network of remote sensors store data locally until communicate with via zigbee wireless by a PDA/Laptop where data is extracted for viewing, recording and reporting.
